Urban Cam was born from a unique perspective on life, shaped by art, music, and a deep curiosity about the world.
Our founder, Cam Zanella, grew up immersed in these influences, visiting museums, attending concerts, and developing a creative and restless mind. This early exposure sowed the seeds for the sensitivity and unique vision that define our work today.
When Cam began his studies, he received his first camera, and from that moment, his journey with photography began—a journey that has spanned over 20 years and evolved from a casual interest into a true vocation.
Life through the lens of creativity
Throughout these two decades, Cam has done it all: from event photography to capturing concerts and portraits. His work with major brands and personal projects led him to discover a passion for property photography. This passion became the foundation of Urban Cam in 2012, making it the first company in southern Brazil to offer professional real estate photography.
In 2018, Urban Cam moved to Sydney with a one-way ticket. It was in Australia that Urban Cam became a recognised and awarded company, delivering high-quality professional images and videos for a variety of brands and businesses.
To date, we have captured over 24,000 projects. Urban Cam’s expertise in the real estate market opened doors to work with construction companies, tradespeople, architects, and interior designers. Our work continues to expand, and we now collaborate with retail, hospitality, hotels, accommodations, offices, and co-working spaces. As we master photographing spaces, our portfolio evolved to include business storytelling through corporate photos and videos, as well as personal branding photoshoots.
Looking back, we are amazed at what has been accomplished. The relentless pursuit of perfection, attention to detail, and unwavering determination have transformed a small project into a thriving business in a new country.
